One-month challenge: Day 16

I’m halfway through this challenge now and I wonder if this is the part where you just try to grind and get through to the other side.

I’ve been feeling less motivated lately, probably due to a combination of factors. I both want to push myself and just take it easy. It’s a curious mix. There’s a whole bunch of stuff I feel like I should be pursuing instead, and lately I feel as though my little challenge is seen as unimportant and silly.

One-month challenge: Day 15

Looks like there’s gonna be some changes round here again. Sometimes it feels like changes is all that keeps occuring, but I guess we all just have to deal with it as best as we can.

One-month challenge: Day 14

It’s been a little bit of a challenge getting back up to speed after a few days’ break, but…. I’ll get there.

Here’s an account of my past days before Day 14:

  • Finished up a business card design for my freelance gig
  • Went for several walks with Alex
  • Helped Alex film his teaching videos for the upcoming week
  • Journaled and meditated to process buried emotions

One-month challenge: Day 14 and 15 update

It’s been an emotionally challenging past two days, and I’m exhausted. I’m going to do over Day 14 and 15 again because there was literally no way I could have tried to accomplish any of my goals today or yesterday.

One-month challenge: Day 13

Is today a more productive day? I certainly feel like I’ve done a lot more compared to yesterday, so I’ll say today is a good day.

One-month challenge: Day 12

Today was a bust (writing from the future, again).

I’m still struggling with working as hard as I can to finish as many modules as I can within the day. Since starting, I haven’t watched much videos or played games because this challenge is just hanging over my head like a Damocles’ sword.

One-month challenge: Day 11

I can’t believe it’s now Day 11 into my one-month challenge.

GOODBADGOODBAD

I both feel like I’m not making enough progress and making tons of progress at the same time.

It’s a weird cacophonous dichotomy running through my head, saying I’m both good enough and not good enough.

But I guess that’s part of the process as I reprogramme my internal beliefs and shame. Nevertheless, I’m proud of the progress I’ve made (with regards to my ego/shame) the past few months.

One-month challenge: Day 10

I’ve been dealing with a super migraine and just general lethargy the whole day, so it’s been tough trying to push through and reach my goals for today.

I also had to deal with a sudden technical issue with my Airpods this morning, where the audio from my MacBook started cutting out every few seconds. It was only my MacBook and not my iPhone, so I knew there was a problem somewhere with my laptop’s bluetooth function.

I was so frustrated while trying to troubleshoot it and it zapped most of my energy away for the day.

One-month challenge: Day 9

I’m exhausted from staying up too late last night and waking up way too early, so I’m going to bed early or I’ll be a wreck tomorrow.

Although I didn’t hit my target of 15 videos today, I’m okay with it because I made progress on my 3rd goal! I’m working on a video podcast project with Wei Ping, which fills me with a joy and excitement I haven’t felt in a while.

One-month challenge: Day 8

What. A. Day.

I’m so psyched because it’s been such a fantastic day.

Hit my goals for my Udemy course, paid off all my debt, and set up so many good things for the future!
